The Power of Ritual - Understanding and Creating Meaning Through Ritual

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

As Jews and camp professionals, ritual is an essential part of our lives. Without realizing it, the traditions we experience, like lighting Shabbat candles or taking a walk with friends, are really rituals that imbue meaning. In this session we will define, share, and create a new understanding of rituals and begin to craft new ones that you can bring back to your camp communities. We will help focus on how to consider rituals in adaptive ways at camp this summer.
